Check in with your body. Are your shoulders tense? Is your heart racing? Is your jaw clenched? What would it feel like to exhale and release that tension?

If you’re here, reading this, you are probably carrying a weight that no one else can see- a weight that you probably have a hard time even trying to describe. You’ve been bracing yourself for so long that the idea of “safety” is not only foreign, but dangerous.

You have spent too much of your life feeling fragmented. Forced to operate from a place of pure instinct to survive the outside world. All the while, spinning out internally, trapped by defenses that you can't stop, that you resent.

You're tired. So bone-deep exhausted. You've tried everything. Or, you've tried “nothing”. You feel stuck. Misunderstood. Unseen. Broken.

Here’s the cool thing though, in this very moment, those beliefs are being challenged. If you resonate with what I'm saying, that's your proof. You aren't broken. You are capable of being understood and seen. It's happening right now.

You may notice some internal conflict here. Parts that feel seen and maybe relax a little. Parts that feel afraid of being seen and make your heart race. Parts that are angry and defensive and are saying “Close this tab. We’re not doing this”. All of those parts are valid and they are all welcome here. Let’s talk about it.

Have you:

  • Tried therapy before and it didn’t seem to work

  • Been told that you have “treatment resistant depression” or “treatment resistant anxiety”

  • Felt like you’re living in a world that wasn’t built for you, or that you feel out of place

  • Felt like you’re in survival mode, barely keeping it together, but you don’t know why

  • Felt misunderstood by people around you, including yourself

  • Worked overtime to try to understand how to fit in

  • Hidden parts of yourself or been unsure about who you are

  • Been hanging out in the rainbow closet out of fear of what would happen if people knew who you are, who you love, or how you love

  • Tried to go down a rabbit hole researching “what’s wrong with you” but come up with an alphabet soup of possible diagnoses and explanations

  • Struggled with intrusive memories or feelings that suddenly take over out of the blue

  • Been told to “just thinking differently” or “just getting organized” as if you hadn’t tried that before

If so, you’ve come to the right place.

I get it. I see you. And more importantly, there’s a logical explanation for all of this.

Many of my clients come to me stating the above. Many of them come to find that they are neurodivergent and/or struggling with trauma and dissociation. Many are part of the LGBT+ community. They are trans, queer, late bloomers, practicing various forms of ethical non-monogamy (ENM).
